Most SS brake lines on the market are the 2-layer type(SS braid over teflon liner). They they are easy to kink, not dirt proof, can not be cleaned, are not DOT approved. Pole 2 Flag SS brake lines are the premium 5-layer DOT approved, easy to clean and possibly the last set of brake lines your car will ever need.

Pole 2 Flag Racing Stainless Steel (SS) Brake Lines Features

• DOT approved 5-layer (teflon core, Kevlar braid, protective layer, SS braid, outer vinyl protective layer) design vs. 2-layer (teflon core & SS braid) non-DOT approved of most vendors

• Hand assembled and pressure tested to 4,500 psi

• Meets MVSS-106, DOT hose assemblies 60-10997 standards

• Virtually no volumetric expansion

• Teflon inner core / chemically inert/non-aging not affected by atmospheric conditions / moisture resistant / very flexible

• SS outer braid which provides added double protection to the inner inner single braid of Kevlar and a barrier layer

• Brake pedal response is immediate, not “soft” as with other standard racing hoses

• Legal for all street and racing applications

Yes. but this is a custom size so we will need the original Stoptech lines to make a set for you so it will fit 100% perfect. Until we build up a library of custom sizes for specific brake systems, this is what we need to do.

To have folks send in their measurement would create a lot of mistakes cuz different combination of calipers among vendors and it will be a nightmare to get it right. The draw back of this method is your car will be on the jackstand until the new lines are made which is ~around 2-3 weeks since these are extreme low qty of one set at a time but we are willing to do this as its simple the best line you can buy and should use. If we can coordinate this better, the lead time may be shorter.

*To avoid the PayPal/Bank Fees, once the final item price is determined(parts+tax+shipping), simply go to your bank and request a check and the bank will send a check by mail to us and this is a free service. Many have chosen this method to avoid the 3% Paypal fee and it works well especially for non-US buyers.

We sold out all the 5-layer SS brake lines and its time to put this on your Santa wish list as a winter project. Some of you experience failure of the common 2-layer SS lines and these are muy better made in the US not overseas. We do need a min of 5 sets per agreement with our vendor to begin production.
State the year of your car as the length are different between 91-96 and 97-05.

Doesn't the stoptech already come with braided lines? I ordered front brake kit from them aswell.. In case i missed it is the pricing for just fronts or complete set

We don't know if ST comes with braided lines. If it does, its the common 2-layer type. nothing wrong with that, it just that they tend to kink(ours did) and they are disposable type used often in racing. Not really meant for long term use but people do it anyway. Our 5-layer is much better and easy to clean. You can't clean the 2-layer type. The price is for the whole set. The 91-96 kit will fit the ST front kit.
