Just some pics and a heads up...been busy and from the pics you can see why. These photos were from two weeks ago, it's jsut about ready to be painted and then I'll post the final pics. This one is being demo'd on Mr. Inoue's Acura and should be awesome. Unfortunately my personal designed little project has been pushed to the back burner but Sorcery and I should be putting out some hot stuff this winter..:frown:
Pricing is still being worked out so start saving your Yen/Pennies/Euro/etc...

Sorry for using the Spaces but easier for me than ftp right now. Under GT-One JGTC Machine

From your post on another thread, you seem confused, this is the base for a "replica" you are referring to. The JGTC NSX has a 10cm wider stance than the base NSX. To fill the wheel well you would need an incredibly large spacer or some fairly expensive rims or maybe a combination of both to make it work. Or adjustable arms that we have in development but only track guys use them. And they are not cheap either. Many of our customers drive their cars on a fairly regular basis and on some fairly narrow roads with normal tires/wheel combinations. To service a wider range of people the kit has been altered to suit a wider range of people's needs, hence a 6cm width and not scraping the ground like clearance. The F1 scoop is molded to the 2007 specs and ready to be made in FRP or Carbon Fiber, the 2007 GT wing is molded and we are just trying to figure out how many people wouldn't mind putting holes in their trunks to feel/look like the real deal, and with two different bumpers in use (Fuji Speedway and the others) we are trying to settle on one that looks better for a road going GT look and keep costs down. Sorcery just finished a Super Autobacs JGTC (turbo style side intakes on an NA1 Type R) car with nearly 10cm wide fenders. We have had no other requests for fenders that wide, and the new owner seems content but has put in an order for our new kit as well. From the kits we have sold the 6cm width feedback has been very possitive. Fortunately we have another set of the 10cm rears and might offer them as an additinal option for some folks who want to buy bigger rims...

And to answer your question, should be ready by NSXPO!! First one in the USA is already spoken for!

As I mentioned in the other thread, don't forget to make a new fender liner for the front to protect the condesor fans from road debri and the side air scoop in the rear incase there is no fender liners.

Nice DJ! Keep up the great work. Too bad you already helped me with my widebody stuff or else I probably would have gone for this one.

Nice bodykit.
Not trying put you down or anything, but I would still love to see a GT bodykit with real GT car's demension...

great googily moogily!

that thing looks like a space ship!

i am fairly certain that thing wouldn't even fit down a normal street! at least from what he has shown us, you will be able to drive the car down the road without having to have it attached to a trailer!

actually it shouldn't be that bad driving on the road.

from what I know, the GT NSX is 20cm wider (10cm wider on each side)
that would still be narrower than Cizeta Moroder, Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari Enzo...

however it will be wider than Dauer 962, Koenigsegg CCX, Jaguar XJ220, Pagani Zonda, etc...

so yeah, it should still be drivable.

I had the Sorcery bodykit before and parking the car in public car park is a headache. Each space is only wide enoguh for the car and the car parking next to mine have to move their car a little bit away so that they could come out. Sorcery kit is about 8cm wider. Always in my head when I drive the car will scratch on the side. That and my parents bickering about my spending.

btw GT NSX is only 10cm wider overall.

hmm ok I just did a research...
the width of stock NSX is 1810mm(which is 181cm, or 1.81 meters)

from the Honda website in Japan, it says the GT NSX width 2000mm(which is 200cm, or 2 meters)
http://www.honda.co.jp/SuperGT/race2006/formation/machine-nsx-gt/

also check out this website, look under "TEAMS & DRIVERS"
http://www.supergt.net/en/
So I guess the GT NSX is 19cm wider than stock.
The Super GT regulation allows all the race cars to be 10cm wider on each side.(I think)

I always thought the GT NSX is 5cm wider on each side from a website that I read before and the Sorcery is probably to closest one which is 4cm wider than normal. My internet connection to japan site is pretty bad so I can't check the Sorcery site at the moment. But the current set up for the GT-One kit is perfect for the street and the offsets for the wheels are not too excessive so in the future I may only use spacer/adapter to offset current wheels and not having to buy a new set of wheels.

Got this info from Gran Turismo game for Honda Takata Dome NSX (JGTC) 2003
Dimension 4430x1910x1090.

Hey all,
The overall width of the JGTC NSX is about 20cm wider than the stock NSX. 9.???? on each side maybe? Again, to suit more people in the market for upgrading (matter of opinion  I like our N1 kits too:smile: ) the looks of their car, we have stuck to a kit that is not as wide as the monsters on the track. The kit is a show stopper regardless of a couple cm and the performance advantages would be cancelled out due to the majority of us opting out on dry carbon panels. As they say you can't please everyone, I am in that group as well. I really wanted a low, scraping the ground car, but everyone isn't using air suspensions so it would be murder on the underboards. I love that Dome "spaceship", and that kind of inspired us to stick to the authentic feel of the NSX. Reception has been pretty positive here in Japan and once this kit is done we (Sorcery and I) are already sketching out some fine Carbon Fiber aesthetic upgrades that people have been "wishing" for on the forums. Mr. Inoue is also waiting for his new Nissan GTR to arrive in the shop next month. We are designing a some Carbon Fiber stuff for it as well. I'll keep a blog on both projects on my little Spaces site.

I have also noticed that how Super GT NSX's tires go up high in the fender...or I don't know how to explain it but the position tires/wheels are so up high which makes the car even look lower and more aggresive.
Is this due to the different suspension geometry?

So JGTC and SuperGT are two different race. Thanks for the correction. Everyday I learn something new.

yeah kind of...

Super GT = new era JGTC

the JGTC no longer exists since they wanted to make it a world wide GT race, instead of being only in Japan kind of thing. I heard that was the reason why they renamed the race as Super GT.

Looking good. Would the front bumper from the old widebody kit fit this one or am I just forcing my wishful thinking into reality?
