Help please - 02 conversion - headlight motor wiring ??

Hello all and NSX guru,

I'm doing my 02 conversion on my euro spec NSX.

I search the diagram for the headlight leveler motor. How to connect ?
I have search on the forum and the service manual 91 or 97+ but i can't find the information.

On euro spec 91 : 2x H1 + motor leveler.
On euro spec 02+ : 1x H1 (low beam) 1x 9005 (hi-beam) and leveler motor.

Someone can help me for wiring the new leveler motor ? We have 3 connector (1-2-3 marked on plug)

Inside the car, you have an button and you can lower the adjustement of your headlight.

Maybe useless, but on European model, we have the button and harness wires.

I'm going crazy if i can't connect perfectly. :biggrin:

An friend say US 91 model, dont have this option.
But 02 US model, have the motor on headlight. Are they connected ???

I was afraid that was what you were going to say. Unless I'm mistaken (at least the US market) the 02+ HID headlights are not adjustable. You may want to post your question in the International forum or maybe visit your local Honda dealer and ask if the cars sold in your country have the motors you're talking about. I'd be surprised to learn that they did.

On the bright side, it simplifies your job! :biggrin:

02+ headlights in Europe are Halogen.

Detlef give me the answer :

You dont will get that problem fixed with 3 cables from the old wiring. That doesnt work.
The new ones needs another wiring system, you also dont have the automatic adjustment sensor under the car etc.

I have use an ohms tester and the result is confirmed : no compatibility.

Easy fix mate, remove old switch, get a blanking plate! :smile:

Was hoping you manage to resolve this. I'm also thinking of getting mine to work. But mine's still have no harness or switch and was thinking of getting them.
