Help with a alpine cd changer

The headunit doesn't recognize the cd changer when I use the adapter. Did I purchase wrong adapter?

Try hooking it up directly without the adapter. I think I had a 630 before as well and it didn't have an adapter.

After you try that and it still doesn't work, does it even power on when you plug it in?

i believe sometimes the pins dont' exactly match up, you might want to double check that.

Fyi: The cd changer finally worked after I purchase another adapter specific the black adapter from a local music shop. The #acu/hon - alp just wouldn't work.
