I prefer this latest prediction for us South Floridians. In any case though, it would be a lot better if this thing would turn out into the ocean when it gets closer to land.
I'm putting my board and rash gaurd in the car Wed evening... and heading to the beach. Hopefully, I can catch some nice long-period SE groundswell for a few days. Right now the track is a little further south than I would like and may keep a good chunk of the swell shielded from the north by the North Carolina jut out.
I'm with you guys from down there, I too hope it turns north and then recurves out to sea. Result= no landfall and great waves for the whole East Coast
Well we finally got power back at work. Still a few days away from getting power at home.
Lost the Shingles off my roof, so new roof time...
Most of my privacy fence has been damaged/destroyed...
Lost half my citrus crop (I had 24 large citrus trees)...
Lost a large oak tree and a bunch of pine trees...
The rest of the landscaping looks like someone took a sand-blaster to it...
Swimming pool is turning into a swamp...
Had to toss a ton of Frozen food and stuff...
