Not sure if this question's been asked (didn't find on search)
I have a Homelink mirror w/standard wedge mount (about the only kind I can find). Would like to install into my NSX-T, even had Acura dealer wire the plug for me. Problem is, the cam-style attachment for the NSX mirror is quite rigidly attached to the glass. Has anybody had success with removal of the stock cam attachment & successfully mated a wedge mount?
Just thought I'd ask before I let a glass shop make the efforts to heat the existing button to try to remove... (can't imagine what a new windshield would cost...)
