Is Florida able to turn a salvage title to a clean title? A friend had this happened to him with a 93 he bought and had to go into legal battle with the seller. It's a scary thought if it is true and it really makes you think if their so called "clean title" is really clean.

They can do what ever they want and if your friendly with the local DMV lady than she can do wonders .There is no federal salvage law only 50 seperate state DMV ruled laws.After 10 year period most states dont care whats on the title.Even the federal odometer disclosure law is exempt for over 10 year old cars.
Isn't Texas another state that can wash a title clean? That is why there are a lot of cars on ebay from Floriday and Texas. Not that they are all washed titles, but many probably are.
