A friend of mine just emailed that after moving into her house, she took a cold shower......she followed that up by asking the below and I just had to share...

"How am I supposed to get hot water? It's gas- so, is there some special code word to make it work? wtf?"

Tell her that she has to say "Engage heater" at least three times next to the water heater to make it start warming up.

It's going to be a long winter. Hopefully she's in socal as that sort of sounds where she might be from, not too cold there.
