Just Purchased Used Comptech Intake (Need to re-oil filter?)

Hi All,

I just picked up a used Comptech Intake for my car...

The intake itself is in good condition but the seller did not put the intake on and it was in storage for sometime...

I touched the filter and it was a little oily but felt like regular foam...

I am wondering if I should reoil the filter or perhaps get a new filter to be on the safe side?

Can you advise whats the best thing to do? The uni filter looks like its in good condition but maybe just need some oil...

What would I look for? How oiled up should the filter be?

I just cleaned and oiled mine this weekend, following the manufacturer's procedure

I used to clean it with Simple Green which was a slow PITA but after some research on the Aussie website for Uni filters

I tried cleaning it with Varsol and it was fast and easy.
