The K series swaps are so bad ass...My friends at Hasport build some really awesome Hondas using the K motors....way better then the convention B swaps IMO because you get good reliable power and the motors are super efficient (low emissions too!) It just so cool that you can swap these into older hatches, civics, and tegs...
BTW those look like Hasport mounts?
The K20 is an incredible engine, with a lot of potential, already with small modifications.
I assisted in puttin one in a Lotus Elise , and gettting one in my very own Civic Type-R next month.
Latest 2004 CTR has enlightened flywheel and clutch for better performance (shaves 0.2 off for 0-60).
Our car is a DX so it did not have power steering from the factory. However, I'm not sure if the PS will work in a car that is so equipped. Most people that are doing this swap don't want to retain the ps anyhow.
I'm having the K20A (ITR) mounted in my car next week. But it seem I will encounter trouble with the power steering pump. I really like the power steering and would like to retain it. My car is 1999 Si.
