Lowest freight cost from US to Norway?

I have used a couple of online calculators to find a decent freight price for a box of used car parts shipped from US to NO-9408 Harstad, Norway.
A couple of the well know companies are asking more than USD 1000. :frown:

The box is appx 72x30x24 inches and weight is around 20 lbs. Ground/ sea freight is preferred.

Is it possible to find a way to ship for less than USD500?

Don't know if this can help, but ....

I had to ship box approx 2' x 2' x 1' weighing 10 pounds to the UK last month. Took it to FEDEX and they wanted $350 to ship. After I got through going like this , I asked them if they were aware that round-trip airfare was 250 bucks, and that I could deliver it myself and have a little left over for cab and fish and chips.
I went to USPS. Sixty bucks and it got there just the same. Will your local postal service work for you?
