Have you tried it? Beats the $1.29 from iTunes.

Looks like the site is run out of Belize. Not sure what the copyright laws are there, but it might be legal in Belize but not in the United States. Of course, the Internet goes everywhere, but this one is definitely a gray area. Use at your own discretion.

i googled the domain and found a number of threads questioning / commenting on the validity of their "agreements" w/vendors. there are a lot of changes occurring in content / media delivery / biz models so they may - or may not - be a quality site.

edit: thx bob for the follow-on info.

Hmmm, my best guess... someone (not in the US) is hosting a website of a giant collection of DRM free MP3's and charging a small fee to download them. They are nesting a small fortune while skirting around copyright laws. Owner/site will eventually get pinched and taken down. No idea what will happen to all the people who have downloaded music. Interestingly enough, one of the policies on that site is that 3 months after purchase, the website will delete any record of that transaction. Hmmmm.... caveat emptor?

Watch for viruses folks and careful who you give your credit card info to.

i checked the mp3 files on go music, and iTunes song's file size are a little bigger

There are tons of foreign websites like iTunes that have music for much cheaper. The legality is questionable. Given RIAAs lawsuit happy ways, I'm not sure I would risk it.

Certainly, they do not have the appropriate licenses to sell you the music. But that doesn't mean they won't take your money and give you 'stolen' goods in exchange. It may make you feel better morally since you are paying some money, but it's not very different from paying for a pirate DVD from some dude on the street, or obtaining it through an illicit bittorrent.

You did read in the note that you are not supposed to disseminate the whois data right? :)
