I HAD MY LIGHTS UP AND NOTICED THAT THEY TEND TO BOUNCE A BIT WHILE ON THE SEMIROUGH ROADS AND THEN, ALL OF A SUDDEN THE RIGHT LIGHT WENT DOWN AND WON'T COME BACK UP. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED? ALL INPUT RESPECTED AND APPRECIATED.

My prior nsx had the problem where the light would shake on one side. It never broke. I am guessing a physical failure of some sort. I would start by looking at pictures of the assembly in the Mitchel book.

A vibration is usually caused by loose or missing bolts on the headlight assembly. However, if it doesn't come up at all, it could be the motor is shot, or the electrical connections to the motor.

BTW I'm sure you mean the Helms manual...

if you can still manuely pick up the headlight the arm that conects to the motor is broke or the ball joint has came out (pops back in)
if the headlight is locked down and you can't hear the motor for the headlight the motor locked up proberly from excesive use and you'll have to pull that headlight ouyt to get to it unless you have real small hands either way it's frustrating

I had a similar problem with my left headlight when I drove across an irregularity (ouch) in the road one night. The headlight disengaged from the motor and dropped down. I could lift it up manually and could see the motor working. Unfortunately, I couldn't get under the lamp assembly to what may have happened. I ended up taking it to Acura of Brookfield. The motor-to-headlight linkage was missing. Luckily, John Vasos (service manager) found an "extra" in his basement parts collection and saved me about $50. Good luck!
