Need Help - Install Type R Mesh Engine Cover

Hi,

I tried to install the Type R Mesh Engine Cover into my 05 NSX-T. To my surprise it doesn't really fit due to the engine bay design is different than the non "T" model. I've seen a couple NSX-T with it, does any one know how they made it fit to the "T" model.

Only difference is the engine brace bar i think, though not sure you should alter it.

You need two items
1)coupe hinges
2)comptech engine cover spacers to go underneath the coupe hinges. It you don't want to get these you can use washers

Th oem r engine cover fits perfect with the above. ( I have one on my 1997 and another on my 2005 nsx)

I have the coupe hinges. With the comptech washers, I guess I will need longer screw as well?

The T has a different shape under the rear panel glass. To make it work, you need spacers to raise the hinges, and yes, longer screws required to hold them down.
