need help, on a mod , hood questions

i cant decide if i should do this mod. i have yet to see one in person lol, i saw a marga hills hood on a candy red nsx back in the days and i was like dammm thats sick but not a nsxr hood on 2002+

most mods i know i want it and go after it, but this hood i cant decide :smile:
maybe do to reselling and cost of painting and shipping is a hassle

or go after some agressive advan model5's instead 17/18 gunmetal lol

Be careful what brand you go with, some NSX-R hoods fit like crap! A good body shop should be able to fit/paint it for you though.

I'm not a fan of large random carbon fiber mods when the weave is left exposed,just looks odd against the majority of the painted panels.Now if you just left the inside of the scoop carbon and the rest painted ...might work..jmo.

I voted no... Because your car is black.. Wouldnt show that much compare to turbo2go's car. Leave the nsx just like it is. Its already beautiful. Maybe gunmetal your oem wheels and call it a day.

Do it. I like the downforce genII. I've had it for years now no issues at all. Perfect fitment. If you want to paint get FRP top or all FRP and save the money. If you get full CF, don't paint the UNDERSIDE of the vent that you can see from the top of the hood. Get it? When you stick our hand into the vent the area above your hand not below it. Leave that section CF. Trust me I should have done this, but it's too late. When you see the car it is fully paint matched including the center vent section. If you walk up and look close, you see the CF weave sides and back going into the vent.

It makes the car look 5X more aggressive.

You're right, the reflection in the hood makes the paint look deeper black than the bumper...
