Need help understanding the cruise control switches

I'm trying to find out what is the common input going into the cruise control SET and RESUME buttons.

Is it a simple ground input?
Is it a voltage input?
Is it some kind of resistance input?

Any help identifying the input to these switches would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Steven,

its a ground input. Use a multimeter to check which is the ground wire.

Steven, it's a negative trigger input but you will need to jump a few wires if you're using the factory spool. Perhaps this will help a little.
