Pulled the wheels apart and powder coated the centers black, and painted the front lip. Also detailed the hell outta it!! Still need to black out the front and rear valance as oem should be... that's coming soon.
My car is dropped on Tein RA's quite a bit and the wheels are 18/19 AVUS 3 piece that I decided on doing black.

The first few pics are from a Meet I was at sunday with it, the others my buddy shot after I got done claying/polishing the car.

Why does your front bumper look "plasticky" and just odd.....?

Is that an OEM 2002+ bumper?

If you are doing the NSX-R theme and already have the black roof and spoiler, why not at least get rid of the Acura badge up front and paint the headlights white?

Otherwise decent car :)

It's the center section not painted black :frown: Probably also because I just painted the factory front lip spoiler championship white as well, almost makes it all look one piece.

I'll hopefully get to it this week, every front and rear end part is all OEM Honda. I'm not a fan of any other body panels, they never seem to fit right.

I may paint the headlights white eventually, not so excited about tearing apart such expensive pieces but maybe.

I actually have the front and rear real NSX-R honda badges in my center console, I had them on the car but idk why the red plastic emblems on the car just look to ricey for my personal taste. I've went for the nsx-r look, but with ride height and wheels and all that have been shooting for more of a classy look. I've also been contemplating painting the roof championship white, maybe for next year?

Thanks for all the comments!!

thx for the new wallpaper bro

no problem!!

So, what would everyone suggestion be since this weeks project will be to black out the center area as oem. Should I also black out the inside of the 2 front valance side vents as well? I plan on doing the rear valance as it should be, I'm just unsure up front.
thanks in advance!!

Yeah.. all you need to do is black out the front center section and paint the correct parts on the rear valence matte black like OEM and your ride is cleeeaann... add a nice exhaust and maybe paint the headlights black since you've got black wheels.

whatever you do .. DO NOT PAINT THE ROOF WHITE!!!!! please and thank you.

+ 1, however I like the white roof, just look at tsuchiya's NSX-R. it has a white roof with work emotion XD-9 wheels and it looks hot!!

TO me the front end looks liek it has huge gaps? Or is it the white...I just cant stop staring at the gaps on the front end.

Other then that I like it.

few things:

R wing had too much orange peel...

as everyone said, the front bumper and rear valence need some TLC... $6 can of spray paint (flat blk.) will do. Trust me, you want to go for the classy look and that's what you need to do.

Might need to align your bumper better, I can't stop starring at the gap either..

I do see what you're saying, it's just the white I think. The bumper/fenders are super tight it just seems that the rubber stands out more on mine than others. I wonder if I can get some more adjustment out of the seals, possibly move them inward farther. I just checked the grand prix white thread and others dont seem as noticeable, I wonder if it being championship white also effects it.

Im not sure...but if you are able to do something about it please share. I'll be looking to get the front end on if I go with a pre 02 as well and any helpful hints Im sure would help a lot of us out. I know what a pain it is to do a frontend tho as I did mine on my ITR with a friend in his garage and it wasnt simple to get everything to line up perfect.

But the more I see white NSX's the more and more Im loving them!!! Your car is badass!

beautiful, just beautiful!!! Porn on wheels.

s ur spoiler authentic type r or a replic? also can u get me a close up on the spoiler from behind? I want to know if the midsection bow up or just flat across.
Sweet ride btw.
thanks

Oh yeah where did u. It that spoiler and how is the fitment?

I agree with the comments above...if you're going for nsx-r look (since you have the nx-r rear wing sticker) I'd do the headlights, keep the roof black, black out the front the rear parts appropriate and drop the Honda badges on her. Its not rice if the nsx-r look is what you're trying to achieve. If not, take the sticker off the wing. If you want a classier look, I'd remov the r sticker and put oem silver on black honda badges.
