Yes you can. I had to wash mine in the bathtub and then gently dry it in the dryer.
You can wash at a commercial laundymat. Use Woolite or another gentle liquid cleaner. Powder clearners can stay in solid form, get imbeded into the material, and scratch your paint. Pay extra for the double rinse with whatever detergent you use.
Wash you car while the cover is in the washing machine. When the cover is done, dry it on your car. (ie.cover your car with the wet cover.) You will have water spots but they come off easily with an instant detailer and if you use a dryer with the OEM cover it will shrink. Good Luck.
