NSX Recovery / Track Addiction - It's back yet again Prime!
I have been wanting to do this for 5 years now. The time has finally come. Progress will be updated as often as possible. The goal is to be testing / tuning by the summer and racing by 2015.
This is Source1's old widebody car.
The chassis sitting before we loaded it for home. Engine / Trans was installed by Source1 for transport
Retrieving the chassis from OHIO after a grueling 32 hour drive through some of the WORST weather winter has to offer, AND BACK. Total time there and back was 3.5 days INCLUDING reassembling the chassis for transport.
The missing body panels are being drop shipped due to size. All of the missing components are in the truck OR in the car.
The car has no glass so we had to seal it knowing the weather would be rainy / windy / snowy and we didn't want to expose the bare chassis to the elements without being sealed first. So we improvised with a combination of Industrial saran wrap used to wrap pallets, 2 rolls of packing tape and 2 rolls of Gorilla tape.
This survived the downpour on Saturday / Sunday on the east coast AS WELL as the 50+ mph winds in combination with the air pressure generated from being towed at 70mph.
It was COLD! The tape froze and started to disintegrate and the car collected ice all the way home.

Black spray paint in weird places... But this is how it started....
Bought some of my trusty anti-spray paint chemical from Home Depot...
And ended up with this after a few touch ups with some sebring silver... Not show worthy but not black!
Also test fitted the hatch... mainly just to get it off the floor it clearly is just laying there but you get the idea!
NA2 brakes provided by Source1

My birthday present to myself...

As of this morning...
Many more pictures to come.
Refreshed the bearings and installed a new crank that was in spec.
Thanks to SOS, Jim Coz, and Source1 for helping!
Added KW v3 suspension, SoS sways, And my SoS ITB's will be on shortly with AEM and ID controlling the air / fuel mixture!
Still alot of work to do before its Performance Touring ready, but soon!
