Hey Primers- Does anyone know of an NSX specialist in Calgary?

Since getting my NSX about 2 months ago I've done some routine wear & tear items (clutch, tie rod, etc.) through a dealership, but would like to know who everyone else uses for their machines.

I want someone who is trustworthy and very knowledgable about the NSX. Too bad Jim at Option Import isn't around anymore.

ZR Auto works on a lot Ferraris and other Exotics. Zahir (the owner) had an Enzo with a FXX motor in it...until he put the car into the ocean during the NewFoundland rally :O !
Anyways he will definitely sort you out.

ZR Auto

(Yes I am from Toronto but I know about him cause his daughter is a friend and used to date a good friend of mine)

I don't know of a single NSX that has had service of any kind at ZR Auto. I personally would never take a car there but that is just my preference. If it's stock type of work Silverhill Acura would be a better choice. For bolt on mods I would look at Tunerworks.

Sorry, aquaintences aside, I strongly caution you to have ANY work done at ZR's. The owner is a shady character - and no that is not just me personally stating such - well known by many many many people in the local Calgary automotive scene and in the legal world. That aside, he also loathes the NSX and feels he is too good for it, so with just that in mind, I would refrain from having any work done at his business. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

+1 on that assessment.

Out of curiosity, what is it that these allegations are based on? He's obviously done well for himself so there are people getting work done at his shop. This isn't to challenge your input on his business or way of doing business...just wondering what it is that's got people sour.

Best to discuss via PM or email vs. open forum.

PM me. I know Compact Tuning Labs does a fair amount of work on local nsx' (at the recent beyond show, they had 5 or 6 of their clients cars there.)

i can put you in contact with Jim from (ex option import) who use to be a NSX tech for silver hill and knows his stuff.
