OBDII Connector Location, 03' NSX

Hi guys, any idea why my OBD11 connector plug would not be in the factory location under the glove box removable cap/plug? The metal bracket to mount the connector is there but no connector or harness.

I'll check it out tonight. I took the glove box kick plate out last night to check if it was back there but it is not. It did use to be on the passengers side at one time I guess because of the knock out and connector plate, do you know why it was moved?

I am not sure if this a "compliance" thing with the location, but I have noticed many new cars have them located where yours is, just to the left of your clutch foot.

That's correct. On a USDM 2002+, it's up under the dash on the driver's side... kind of above where the hood release is.

Excellent guys, thanks again. Some thoughts I had when I pulled out the plug/cap under the clove box were not too pleasant so I really appreciate your information as to its "new" location.
