its out in march...they are writing the story today...photos where last month....

its actually alittle more power than that...not much though...like 17 psi..
i really dont have any issues hooking up....now that its cold here i get a little spin/hop if im beating on it...but never when its warm out.

Why would'nt you run the titanium rods over steel rods?

Because NSX rod is cast Ti, not forged.

It was design for weight savings.

hi Marc --

Congratulations. You and your car definitely deserve it. You've definitely pushed the engine further than I thought it was capable of and proven the NSX to be an incredibly expandable platform. One thing I noticed is the rods are factory titanium rods.

cheers,
-- Chris

LOL yeah i was cutting and pasting from your sight...looks like i cut one line too many....LOL

fixing that now...

obviously it really helps having a shop like SoS around (im like 10 minutes away)...it really helps to see what others are doing, to help make desicions....They where a great help...it was nice to be able to bounce ideas off them in person and not on the phone or the internet...

David, the issues with what rods are best is a funny one...since NO ONE has ever bent on from FI, no one REALLY knows the limit (no one wants to find out either) It is my opinion that the rods will be fine for this plus much much more power....the caps on the rods might be a different story....and the steel rods *should* be better on the bearings but who knows?

I have about 10,000 FI miles now on this motor, all of it 500hp or more....and i do not baby it...i do not abuse it but i built it to drive and be dependable, which it 100% is.

Congratulations! If my SCC subscription doesn't transfer over to the March issue of Modified, I'll definitely pick it up.

Looking forward to reading the article. Man, the NSX has been all over the enthusiast media lately. Congrats!

Congratulations...
1. On getting on the cover page!
2. On putting down some sick power
3. On having the exact color scheme I want to do someday

Car is beautiful, man... definitely deserving of the cover story!
