please explain this what is the snap ring range.

I have been hearing about snap ring range. What is this and is this a big problem conserning the transmission. Im not an owner yet of the nsx. But im learning alot on the nsx with this site. Becuase one day I hope to own my dream. So please help me in this matter. That way I can purchase the right car and know what im getting myself into.
