Polished my engine support

Since there aren't any aftermarket engine supports available that I know of, I decided to polish mine. It's a nice little dress up project if you have a few hours to spare. I just used progressively finer sand paper down to about 1500 grit. Results look pretty good!

Started with a wire wheel to knock the big stuff off, then went with 120grit and worked my way down to 1500 grit wet sand. Power tools make this process much easier
 
the two bolts that hold it in place, did you have to replace them? Did they have any red pain on the tip of the thread (sealant). Thanks.
 
No they didn't appear to have any loctite or sealant on them, just two normal bolts that bolt into the block.
