Polyurethane Bodykits

I've had glass fibre bodykit on my ITR and don't like the fact that they are so brittle and needs repairing/repainting every so often. So if any other kits that I put on all my cars from now on will only be urethane kits. What urethane kits (non-wide bodied) or lips/side skirts are available from the X apart from the WW kit?

You are out of luck pal. Those are Marga Hills and can be bought from Shotoku-R now. But as far as urethane kits go, WW has the only setup. I feel your pain.

My 91 has WW front lip N Lechers side steps and as far as the urethane make sure your body shot knows how to prep and paint these becasuse mine have been painted three times already because the paint cracked. If you like the marga hills side steps you will probably like the Lechers as well. They used to make a knock off of the marga hills called vinnies side steps but I belive the mold was lost or damaged and they are no longer in production. Here is a link to some other side steps.

Stress cracks, stone chip cracks, cracks from mounting bolt points....Cracks EVERYWHERE ! I hate them! The only way to have them in tip top show condition is to repair & respray them every year! = $$$$ unless of course you hardly drive it.

The only side skirts that I know of that are urethane are the Wings West and for those who I know that have them in the northeast region they always seem to have paint problems and I dont know if it is from the cold and hot weather. The lechers side steps are fiberglass by the way and I am very pleased with them.

One thing I noticed about urethane skirts is the weight.My wings west were Quite heavy and liked to warp.So I guess there is pro's and con's to both.I am in the process of making fiberglass ones(weigh the same as factory).As far as durability,I can't comment but the fiberglass is definately thin!Fiberglass will be easier to fix than urethane as well.Anyway just my .02 cents.

Just to kick it out there since it is already being mentioned, I have my Lechers side skirts up for sale right now on EBAY (due to new wide body). But to answer your question, they are FRP.
