Power lock motor (driver side) doesnt work

Well after spending a good amount of money to install an alarm ( also looking for the convinience of having keyless entry) i just found out that my driver's side power lock doesnt work.... the installer told me it might be the motor because the left side works and the fuse is good.

Any ideas how much a PL motor will cost... is it easy to install ??

Did the lock work before the install? Coincidence is not in my vocabulary.

I have never heard of a power lock motor failing. Either your installer messed up the wiring making it inop or your installer messed up the wiring and burnt the motor out or your installer is a idiot and did both.

Well , because the car didnt come with a remote i always used the key to open and close the door, but i noticed one day that while i was inside the car i pressed down the locks and mine didnt locked but i didnt pay attention to it..

I've had a power lock motor fail in my Prelude but not in my NSX.

I cant find the motor on ebay, where can i look for it....

No it does not, but when i close the driver side it close it the passenger side
