Prodrive GC-05K & Stoptech Brakes a go

John from Dallas recently ordered a set of Prodrive GC-05K wheels for his NSX. These are probably the first in the states for the NSX. These forged Monoblock wheels are very light weight (under 17 lbs for the fronts). At John's request, we test fit these over Stoptech brakes - and they clear great! This is good news, especially considering the 17x7.5+34 offset is slightly less aggressive than other wheels commonly used with Stoptech brakes.

These forged monoblocks are made by Rays Engineering (manufacture of Volk Racing wheels) and are fairly expensive unfortunately due to the Yen exchange and freight (at about $500.00 per set). We hope that some day Prodrive will establish a US distributor again to at least reduce the shipping cost.

I've been hoping someone would get these for their NSX since Prodrive introduced them.

Just can't beat a Forged split 5 spoke.

For customers that are interested, we recently fit these behind Prodrive GC07C (7.5+44, 9.5+44) wheels. The fronts require a small 5mm spacer, rears do not.
