My 93 has an Alpine CHM-S611 mounted in the swing down factory mount. I know you're supposed to use the Precision Interface Electronics adapter for proper signal phasing. I'm not sure if the car has it installed but the for what it's worth the bass seems ok and imaging is good too.
I didn't feel like taking apart the mount and removing the carpet in the trunk to verify if I have it or not but perhaps you guys can tell me.
The female ended DIN cable coming out from under the carpeting is a sky blue color, is this the factory DIN cable or is it the adapter cable? Or God forbid, are they both the same color?
Thanks,
Hugh
By the way I have 2 OEM cartridges from way back when I owned my first NSX in 1993 that work with the Alpine 5960, are these worth something to anyone out there?
