I have my nsx in storage for about 8 months now. Just recently I started up the car and it idles fine but when I blip the throtle the rpm drops to the point where it almost stalled. What is the cause of this problem. I've checked the oil it is a little low. The nsx is running fine b4 the storage. Any suggestions?

Thanks

my 97 does something similiar. Instead of the tachometer returning to around 700 rpm, it goes down just below 500 rpm acts like it's going to stall then goes back to 700 rpm.

I thought this might just be normal though.

was the gas tank completly full, or completely empty when you stored the car?

The gas tank is half way full. Also do I check the oil when the car is on or off. I've checked the oil today and it seems to be above the high point of the stick. I added about a quart of oil in it when i check the oil (below the lowest point) last night while the car is on. I'm taking the car to the dealer anyways but is is safe to drive it like that?

thanks
