rack pinion swap/ eps to manual rack?

my eps rack is making a squeaking noise so im thinking about doing a swap. eps racks are around 2500 and a manuals are around 300. has anybody done the swap? need some help on all parts need to do the swap?

Just look for a used rack or fix yours.

used racks go for 1800 to 2500 and thats used. and know i they do not make parts to fix it.

I believe I'd have to post to someone like Larry B or Eiffel or Barney - they'll give you a much better detailed response - then you can feel free to buy the manual rack ...:biggrin:
