rear trunk struts

get them fixed by strutwise

This is not a part I would buy used, just because they do tend to wear out over time.

As the doc notes, you can send them to Frank at Strutwise for refurbishing. But I'm not sure you'll save all that much by doing so, since you can buy brand new ones (part number 74820-SL0-315) for less than $50 each from Tim at Acura of Peoria.

Re-gassed from Strutwize was 15.00 per strut plus twenty for shipping. Struts feel like they were given a dose of Viagra!

Same here, I have had Frank redo both of mine trunk and hatch with great results. Best of all I have the original look including all the original stickers on the struts. 2 day turnaround on the rebuild and even a courtesy phone call to inform me they were done and on the way.

Highly recommended.

I replaced mine with OEM parts when I bought the (then) 10 year old car. A mere 10 years later, it's time to do it again. I haven't decided which way to jump yet.
