Recall letter - help needed

Hi - anyone here imported a BMW from the US to Canada ??

I have to pay $500 for a stupid 2 lines on a stupid BMW letter head that shows my vehicle has no outstanding recalls on it - anyone here has/had a way around this - it's a new rule that started in June this year

BMW = ripoff

it's not only that their cars are expensive to maintain but also their letters are - what a way to steal people's money

any help will be appreciated

or if anyone has any connections with a Canadian BMW dealer that can help me get that letter and not pay $500

that won't give you a specific VIN# recall history - it is just general recall info
