I'm taking a date on a drive up HW1 north of SF. We'll probably stop by the Tomales Bay Oyster Co. for a snack, but I'd appreciate any suggestions for scenic, cozy restaurants along the coast or any other interesting stopping points...

I remember there being a nice restaurant at Timber Cove, but never had the chance to eat there.
Nice hiking paths around the area, but a little far from SF...

Thanks for the suggestion Charles. And yes Steve, I did buy a "starter" motorcycle - will be buying a proper race bike shortly! BTW, did you know that motorcycles cost less than current high-end bicycles? Who knew!!!
