How do you remove the console colored cover on the ash tray? Must the console come out to do this? There are two screws visible from the front but I wonder if there are more I can't see. Anyone know?

The ashtray console cover is fixed to the actual ashtray cover with four (I believe it was four) small screws.
If you manage to remove the four screws the ashtray cover will come loose. You will need a small screwdriver to do this otherwise you have no room to operate.
However, I've done this only once to have my console painted but I did in fact remove the whole ashtray unit.
