I agree, the odd thing is that the Ford GT is lower than our cars (I thought) but the one above does not look it. Maybe the NSX is lowered?

Always get a kick out of this visual lesson in aerodynamics. Camera lens and perspective (no P-chop) had a lot to do with how dramatic this all seems but, nevertheless, an interesting view. Enjoy.
