Has anyone tried the Friendly Robotics mower out? I've read great reviews about this thing. Cuts the grass better, mulches better, and is only about $1100 shipped for the 850, and $1800 for the RL 1000. I'm really thinking about getting one since global warming:rolleyes: has made it so hot outside.... : )

kind seems like that ROOMBA or whatever it was called... the home automatic vacume cleaner... it never worked well at my friends house... it definitely misses places...

I've thought about building my own. Laziness is the mother of all invention ;)

The one in that second video seems to be pretty haphazard in terms of its mowing pattern. The biggest issue with something like this: What prevents someone from picking it up and walking off with it?
