We've recently completed four NSXes with the ScienceofSpeed Standalone EMS based on the AEM Series 2 EMS. We thought you'd like to know a little about the cars.
Driving Ambition
1996 NSX with Comptech Supercharger System
The car was upgraded with the ScienceofSpeed Standalone EMS, larger injectors, 1:1 fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, and smaller pulley. Shad notes that the cars drivability is excellent with the new stand alone.
2000 NSX with custom 2.9L Whipple Supercharger
You've probably read about Ken's monster Whipple supercharged NSX. The existing piggyback Electromotive engine management system was upgraded to the ScienceofSpeed Standalone EMS. The NSX makes more than 520 hp & 417 lb/ft torque at the wheels!
ScienceofSpeed
1998 NSX with ScienceofSpeed Stage 1 engine & GTX3076R turbocharger
We changed the turbocharger and replaced the F/IC system with the ScienceofSpeed Standalone EMS. The car hits HARD! 470 hp and 380 lb/ft at the wheels - most importantly, more torque at only 2000 RPM than a factory NSX makes peak, and 380 lb/ft at only 3800 RPM! Check out Gary's build thread here:

2000 NSX with ScienceofSpeed Stage 2 engine & ScienceofSpeed Twin Turbocharger System
Gerry's 2000 NSX was modified with a Stage 2 (3.2L) ScienceofSpeed engine and a bolt-on ScienceofSpeed Twin Turbocharger system. Using 91 octane pump fuel, the car produced 603 horsepower & 463 lb/ft of torque at the wheels. The standalone ECU us to utilize electronic boost control to offer a "low boost / high boost" switch - allowing a driver selectable 500 & 600 whp switch.
