I have a 91 nsx. I do not have keyless entry. Does my car have the security system brain already? I noticed the light behind the door lock nub at the bottom of my window. Do I need the whole system or just a programmed fob? Thanks for the help.

There is a black box that connects up with the stock system to give you keyless. I belive you can get it from the dealer or try ebay.

The security system is armed if the zones are closed and you lock the door using your key. When that light blinks, your system is armed.

Keyless entry is a whole other box as Acura NSX Pilot indicated. Not worth it to go OEM if that's what you want.

You might check to see if you have the keyless receiver under the glove box.

The system is made by Kenwood and somebody (can't remember where to find it) had a way to possibly reprogram an previously unrelated remote of that vintage....it was rather painful and involved a lot of steps.

The 91-93 system is real PITA to deal with.
