Yes, I know my title is screwy because there is no such thing as a 120-500, only 120-400 and 150-500 but I got the two numbers mixed in my head.
Anyhow, anybody use the Sigma 120-400 OS lens? Sigma 150-500 OS lens? How's it compare to the 100-400L IS?
I got to use someone's Sigma 80-400 w/ OS and it worked pretty nicely. Now I HAVE to have one of those monster telephoto zooms.
I know the ultimate toy would be the Canon L lenses, but I'm about to do a 3 lens shopping spree consisting of the Canon 50mm F/1.8, Canon 70-200 F/2.8L IS, and one monster zoom 400mm+ with some sort of image stabilization.
Just wondering if the Canon 100-400($1400) is worth the extra $500 over the Sigma 120-400($899).
