Single Stage R-77 Formula Red

Looking for some up-to-date information on a single stage paint that matches the early Formula Red R-77.

I need to repaint my front end and possibly a rear valance (if I can afford it) and don't feel like messing with triple or double stage paints and tinted clear coats. Has anyone found a single stage product that is a good match? It seems to me that it shouldn't be that hard to match. For crying out loud the stuff in the little touch-up bottle is close enough for me.......do they make that in gallon size? :biggrin:

Help! Please provide manufacturer and paint code if you have one.

Any local bodyshop can quickly point out your paint code on the car provded the sticker has'nt been removed. Paint matching can be delicate on older bright colors but it can be done and I see no problem in using single stage unless your going for show quality.
