SMOG Test Only Station recommedations Bay Area

Hi,

Received vehicle registration renewal notice today, but has a big SMOG Certification Required at a Test Only Center on the letter! Can anyone tell me a good place to go? There are so many test only centers, but would prefer a place that has done nsx before. My NSX year is 1996. Thanks Much! :wink:

I'd recomend an Acura dealer. I used a SMOG only station - they had trouble with the TCS, and the timing light gave very strange readings. I later learned that the NSX does not work well with some of the timing lights out there.

I recently had mine done at a place in SF. I just took the local Advertizer and found it. Forgot the name but it is located in an alley between Geary and O'ffarrel. Cross streets are Polk and Larkin. I picked them because it is among the cheapest and they are very good.

Don at Hilltop always sends his NSXs out to a small shop on Mission across the street from his shop . Those guys are familiar with NSXs. They do mine all the time.
