SOS CF Hatch Duct waterproofing ideas

Hey! i just purchased the SOS lexan hatch and carbon duct kit and noticed something right off the bat, there is no way to divert water out of the duct area. On an older nsx of mine i had the lexan and roof duct from SOS, an older model. and this had a sort of "Mushroom" looking thing on the inside of the duct which did a great job at keeping water out of the engine bay. Currently SOS does not sell anything that would be similar to this to help keep water out of the engine bay. My plans are to run their ITB system to clean up the engine bay and the use of the roof duct would put air, and currently water, right where the ITB system would be. Does anyone have any DIY ideas on what i could do to keep water out while still getting the most benefit from the duct kit?
