The South Point Hotel is located less than 5 minutes south of the world famous “Strip” which provides a good compromise between being very close to the Strip yet far enough to avoid all the congestion (easy highway access next to the hotel entrance will help with staging and caravanning). The deluxe room rates are $55 (Sun-Thurs) and $85 (Fri-Sat) which were the lowest of any luxury or near-luxury hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard during the RFP and negotiation process.

The South Point has a Conference Center & Exhibit /Arena Complex with over 150,000 sq. ft. of Exhibit, Meeting and Banquet space so it is well equipped to accommodate our 200 NSXs (and trailers) and 300 NSXPO guests that we anticipate will be in attendance. This should be the largest NSXPO ever and a fitting way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the NSX so we encourage everyone to bring their NSXs if possible. A private outdoor parking lot in the southwest section of the hotel grounds has been allocated for NSX attendees only and extra security has been arranged for 7 pm-7 am everyday from the evening of 10/27 until the morning of 11/1. Our room block has been selected to face this parking lot, however you can choose a different view room if you prefer. Finally, The South Point has a 16-screen movie complex, a 64-lane bowling alley, a handful of restaurants that cater to all appetites and tastes, an outdoor pool and spa.

The code for our event is NSX1027. You can register in person, by phone (866-791-7626), or through the web site (www.southpointcasino.com). You can also use NSXCA or NSXPO if you register by phone. As a service to our attendees, NSXCA signed a contract to secure enough rooms for this event and is financially obligated to fill these rooms. If you register outside of the NSX block, please notify the hotel that you are attending NSXPO so that your room will count towards the NSXCA room count obligation. At registration, we will need to generate a list of all NSXPO attendees who are staying at South Point outside of the NSX block (either by phone or web site registration) and submit their names for credit towards the NSXCA room block obligation.

If you have any questions in regard to the host hotel, please post here. NSXCA and your Las Vegas NSXPO planning committee will do our very best to make sure this will be the BIGGEST AND BEST NSXPO ever!

Best Regards,

Danny

Hi

Rich B/Passline have reserved a room for me from 22.10.10 until 03.11.10. That was done before the promo code was good to go.

However things have happend. I will stay at Lance's from 22.10.10 until wednesday when NSXPO starts. I will help you guys as much as I can. And I will stay at the hotel from 27.10 until 03.11.10.

I sent Rich B a pm with a notification to this change. However I have not gotten any reply yet. I am not sure when I sent that message though. Probably not that long ago

So I post this message so if you Danny talk with the hotel you could let them know that I want to be in the NSXPO section with the group rate at the dates I say above.

TIA

Regards

Hi Martin:
Sorry for the confusion. At the present time there is no room reserved in your name at the South Point, so you are good to go ahead and reserve using the now setup group rate and code NSX27. I will be contacting the hotel to be changing mine to use the code now that it is set-up. Again, sorry for any confusion Martin and I will explain all of this to you when I see you at Expo. You will see my post soon for the drive to Vegas and return so that you will know my schedule for any NY help afterwards.
Regards
Rich B.

No problem. Everything okey. This will be one he** of a trip. Look at CNN for coverage of my time in NYC

Edit: The promo code is NSX1027 as stated in the first post so nobody gets confused here

Go on line and look for Lee,s Discount Lquor. Lee's has 10 or more stores in LV. Ones off the Strip are larger.

Lance

Lee's Discount Liquor is at 9120 Las Vegas Blvd, on the east side, and South Point is at 9777 Las Vegas blvd, on the west side.

Our favorite place for wine is the Las Vegas Wine Co, 9110 Tropicana Blvd on the southwest corner at Jones (893-8466), which is a 3 to 5 mile drive.

Hi

I have Co Pilot on my SE X10 Mini Pro and TomTom Navigator on my Nokia E75. And this is what I found.

9100 block is 0.86 miles from the hotel if you go by TomTom. And 0.93 miles if you go by Co Pilot.

I think we will be just fine

Martin - thank you. I believe many of us here in USA look forward to meeting you and putting a face with a name from Prime. Safe travels to you, see you quite soon!!!

So, am I to understand that complimentary drinks will be served at your room? Or perhaps the latest mod to your NSX is a full wet bar.

Our room, if none other, will have a cold somethin' for you and your guest(s), C-BUS laddie!

THX Doc. Exactly where is THE HOSPITALITY ROOM anyway? South Pointe must be a pretty large complex.
