southview and west side...and a/c conversion..what's the deal?

I called southview and west side svc dept the other day.

One said "no we do not do r12 to r134 conversion..have to take to auto temp, etc"

The other one said "i think we do..uh..i'm sure we do. let me chk with mgr tomorrow?"

????????????

Am I missing something here? Why don't the 2 dealerships do conversion, test leaks, evac, recharge????????

i seriously want my r12 to r134 conversion done and then recharge. really sux driving today with the 30C heat.

Why not perform the conversion yourself?

If worse comes to worse, maybe just move to a place where its cooler...Maybe like Yellowknife or someplace like that.. or maybe put some ice bags in the vents...
