Stupid oil ?

Can any of you give me advice on swithing from regular oil to synthtic Mobile one.Is is wise to swith now .My car has 30,ooo miles on it.Is synthetic better for engine?Any harm to engine to swith?With testamonies like Richards{206'000 miles}with no problems,it seems like a good move.

i asked the same question a few months ago and it was discussed here and i was told that it would not hurt to switch .....only think they said was make sure its 10w/30

As long as you change your oil at or before 3000 miles, regular oil is okay. But, no normal human being does this. So use royal purple and treat your car to something wonderful. It is twice the price of mobil one but it is a great oil. Mobil one is great to though.

May want to consider Synergyn racing oil.

Mobil 1 is fine. There's no need to spend more for an exotic brand, except for bench racing.
