Subwoofer Coupe and Targa the same ?

I'm swapping my aftermarket stereo out of my non power steering 92 coupe into my power steering 97 T. My installer a prime member always commented that the PS rack was behind the sub and it wouldnt fit and i keep on telling him that sub vendors only sold one type to fit all years.
Today he took the sub box out of the T and the rack was there and the custom sub box didnt fit.

I'd like to hear Prime's insights on this matter.

So the 97T has power steering and you will have to relocate the EPS computer to mount your sub. Depending on how your sub box was designed, you will probably have to move around a number of harnesses and remove some brackets to have just the floor surface exposed.

It will fit as long as you remove the obstacles. Trust me on this. :smile:
