Suddenly, key FOB won't arm Clifford Cyber 1 Alarm

Hey Guys.

I have a Clifford Cyber 1 Alarm that suddenly last week required you to hold the remote very close to the windshield ONCE, then after that (same day) it wouldn't arm the alarm at all. I've;
1.replaced the fuses on the battery able to the alarm,2.
2.replaced the Key FOB battery, and
3. tried reprogramming the fob to the alarm to no avail.
Note, the alarm does "chirp" like it's supposed to when I'm flicking the under dash switch, but it won't chirp when I push the key FOB to confirm programming.

Anybody run into this before?

Sounds like the brain is going out or that the remote is bad. If its the brain send it to dei and they will repair it for free.
