I have an aftermarket hood and the sun hit the plastic reservoir tank and basically ate it up. Of course, the reservoir tank cannot be purchased separately and the entire abs unit costs around 2k. I have seen the 91-92 abs units offered for sale which have the square reservoir tank rather than the longer rectangular one... Question--have any of you taken the reservoir off and had one duplicated? If so, I would like info on who did the work etc.

Wow, sun ate up the tank? How long did it take to do that?
I guess this confirms why the NSX-R has a cover over the coolant tank in the engine bay, as the mesh cover exposes it to sunlight.

The tank is under the hood and not in a place I could imagine it would get sun - even with a NSX-R replica hood.

Data points: Honda has one Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) for North America, this is the one you see on USDM/CDN parts suppliers, and a completely different EPC for the rest of the world.
So if you can find a supplier outside of US/CDN they should be able to get the parts for you.
Next, the ABS system is made by NISSIN, very common OEM brake supplier, they even have a US presence. They should be able to point you in the proper direction

Large brake warehouses can get just about any Nissin part you need. There are also US shops that rebuild this ABS unit (same as Legend and others), if you search these forums you will find my past knowledge base postings on this subject.
