I took my '91 in t0 get smogged and they couldn't get the "car up to speed" on the rollers due to the TCS coming on at about 15mph. The TCS sensed the front wheels not moving and activated. My TCS is working I just need to be able to turn it off and can't. When I push the button I get sqwat, nadda, no action.

Any ideas anyone?

I had the same problem once and the cable was loose under the instrument cluster on the right side...Lyle

Are you referring to just behind the TCS button itself? On the backside of the dash?

thx,

Yes, If you take the cover off below the dash (2 screws) you can see under dash to make sure connection tight.

Thx for the tips. When I have a moment I'll check that out. For the mean time I just unplugged the TCS computer so I could get the car smogged... it worked... got it done
