2nd Owner and SUPER CLEAN carfax

I am thinking of putting it up in the market in the Spring because of higher demand, resulting in a higher asking price :) I was going to shoot for an asking price of 29k - maybe less but no more. What do you guys think? I know my car has higher mileage but its in perfect mechanical shape and dealer maintained and records for almost every service? The 2 door dings might set some people off. Any thoughts?

Have you looked into a PDR (paintless dent repair) specialist for the door dings? PDR is so inexpensive - a typical price for two dings is $100-150 - that it would be worth doing before selling...

I think that you are definately in the right ballpark.
I bought one in the Baltimore/Washington area a year and a half ago for a little less.
It was in similar condition with similar milage.
The seller was origionally asking 29k though.
Good luck!

nsxtasy... what if one of the door dings took a piece of paint off? would PDR benefit me at all?

No it does not take off paint. They do it from the inside of the panel. PDR is a benefit that is why they call it PDR(Paintless Dent Repair).

Dont do it....

Since the door ding is bad enough that paint is missing, then I would not use PDR to repair it. I would either have it done properly by a body shop, which will be expensive (because it means repainting the panel and blending), or else not do it and let the buyer worry about it. (If not repaired, it probably would detract from the market value, but it's tough to say whether it would detract by enough to make fixing it pay for itself.)

And I would not describe them as "small door dings". Small door dings don't have paint missing...
